Approval to access the Portal is required from your Chief Executive. This approval, including your name and email address, should be forwarded by their office to our ID Health Data Portal Team at: IDhealthdataportal@unsw.edu.au

Once this email has been sent to us, please register to use the ID Health Data Portal by clicking on ‘Request Access’ and completing the access request form. You can find this form here.

Our ID Health Data Portal Team will then register you and you will receive an email prompting you with your log in details.

The registration process is a manual process that takes up to five business days to complete.

Please check that your Chief Executive has sent the ID Health Data Portal Team an email approving your access to the Portal and that you submitted the ‘Request Access’ form more than five business days ago.

No, you cannot share your log in details as this breaches the terms and conditions to which you have agreed.

If you are leaving your current role please contact the ID Health Data Portal Team at: IDhealthdataportal@unsw.edu.au to let them know and we will cancel your access to the portal.

If you are changing roles and/or LHD/SHN we will need these updated details and confirmation that your Chief Executive(s) continue to support your access to the Portal in your new role.

Yes, as long as you have approval from the Chief Executive from each LHD/SHN.

You can find a summary of key information on the My LHD/SHN page.

For more detailed information you can go to the reports page. Here you will be able to generate reports on demographics, health profiles, and health service usage.

The reports will contain tables and graphs with data about people with intellectual disability in your LHD/SHN.

Unfortunately, you are not able to download the tables and graphs.

We do not have approval for you to download the report outputs.

No, you cannot publicly share or publish the reports.

The reports are available to you for the purpose of quality improvement to better understand and respond to the health needs of people with intellectual disability in your LHD/SHN.

Yes, you can talk to your colleagues about the reports if the purpose of sharing the information is to better understand and respond to the health needs of people with intellectual disability in your LHD/SHN.

No, you cannot use the data for research purposes.

Yes, the ID Health Data Portal and the evaluation have received ethics approval from the NSW Population and Health Services Research Ethics Committee.
